What is a 5th Quarter Athlete?
The scope of who we are as people goes far beyond the title of "athlete" that we displayed proudly during our careers, representing schools and organizations along the way.
A 5th Quarter Athlete is an individual who intentionally navigates their life off the playing field to develop skills in other areas, such as leadership, teamwork, problem solving and communication while applying the lessons learned through their athletic experiences to real-world and professional settings.
The purpose of 5th Quarter Athlete programs and resources is to help athletes become well-rounded individuals and improve their overall life experience.
